Introducing myself and this blog

Hi Everyone,

I'm Polchak. Yes, the name was born just a few minutes ago. I named myself as Polchak for this blog spot, celebrating my new challenge for writing English-originated postings. I'd love to introduce myself to the World as simply as I can.

I'm pretty sure that you're not familiar with my nickname, Polchak, as I expect readers would be mostly from English speaking countries. Polchak[폴짝] is a mimetic word for 'jumping' in Korean. I feel like this sounds pretty joyful in Korean, but I'm not sure if it works in English or other languages. I would really love to make you feel joyful by hearing my nick, and it was my intention for the naming myself as Polchak.

Are you feel familiar with Korea? If you're, I would be definitely glad to hear that. If you aren't, I'd love to answer on your questions. As I'm a Korean, born and grown in Korea for the whole life except some trips and a year in the US, I expect my postings will be focused on my days in Korea, especially Seoul.


Interests
Frankly speaking, the most difficult question for me is 'what my interests are'. It's a bit difficult to limit my interest here to there. I'm simply interested in many many things, but it's just wide and very shallow. Music, I love it, but just listening, and can't play any instrument. Movies, I like it, but not watching every weekend. Photographs, I love it, but not a specialist.

However I want to share lovely music, inspiring books and movies, and some photographs which I have taken. Also, I'd love to add some tips for SEOULING; traveling or self-enjoying in Seoul.
